[Memory] - ThinkPad iSeries S30/S31 - Do You Still Keep This Beast?


This machine is specific to Asia Pacific (mainly China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea).

Produced (S31) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of IBM Thinkpads. The cover is piano black, and a mirror surface. Designed in Japan by the Yamato Design lab.

    • 10/100 Intel Ethernet and FireWire combo card

  1. Hi, surprised and very pleased to see your article on the Thinkpad S31. I still have this machine, love it and kept it although had problem finding battery and a new hard disk. Is it possible to keep the shell and reconfigure it with the latest operating system? If so, please do let me know how i should go about it. Thanks for the memory.
